Dental practicesGoal: New patient booked

The AI receptionist that books new dental patients while your front desk is chairside.

Your phones ring hardest at 8am and lunchtime, exactly when the front desk is checking out patients. Avoonta picks up, asks whether it's a new patient or an existing one, and books the visit.

The problem

Why dental clinics leads go cold.

A new patient who hits voicemail usually calls the next dentist.

A family that just moved to town searches for a dentist and calls down the list. If your line rings out because the front desk is collecting a copay and confirming tomorrow's schedule, they hang up and try the next office.

Evening and weekend calls are worse. Someone with a chipped tooth on Saturday, or a parent who finally has time to book cleanings at 9pm, hears a recording and moves on.

What Avoonta does for dental clinics

Four jobs, done on every call.

Answers the phone 24/7

Inbound

Every call is picked up, including lunch, evenings and weekends. Your agent asks whether they're a new or existing patient and what the visit is for: cleaning, exam, whitening consult, implant consult or a problem tooth.

Calls web inquiries back fast

Outbound

New-patient forms from your site or ads get a call within seconds, with the person's consent, so the family comparing three practices hears from yours first.

Books into your schedule

Outbound + inbound

It checks your Google, Outlook, HighLevel or Cal.com calendar live and books the right appointment type, with the hygienist or dentist you set for it.

Sends pain calls to a person

Live transfer

Swelling, a knocked-out tooth or severe pain? The call goes live to your on-call number, or the caller is told to seek emergency care, based on the rules you set.

If answering every call brings in two new patients a month who would have hit voicemail, their first visits and future cleanings can cover the plan many times over.

Limits and compliance

Scheduling help, not dental advice.

Your agent books visits and answers office questions, like hours, parking and what to bring, from the details you provide. It never tells someone whether a tooth needs treatment or what to take for pain. Swelling, trauma and severe pain go to your team or to emergency care. Avoonta doesn't claim HIPAA compliance, so the agent should only ask for what it takes to book the visit, not full medical histories.

Dental Clinics FAQ

Straight answers.

Can it answer whether we take a certain insurance?

Yes, if you give it your list. It can say which plans you're in network with and note the patient's carrier for your team to verify.

Does it handle dental emergencies?

It doesn't assess them. You set the rule: calls about severe pain, swelling or a knocked-out tooth are transferred live to a person, and the caller can point people to emergency care.

Can it book different appointment types?

Yes. You define cleanings, new-patient exams, consults and anything else, with their lengths and which provider sees them, and it books the right one.

Will it talk to kids?

It's set up to book with the parent or guardian who calls. Appointments for children are made with an adult on the line.
