Compliance

AI calls and texts to US consumers are regulated. Avoonta enforces the rules it can check. The rest depends on you, because only you know how each lead was collected.

This page explains how Avoonta behaves and what it expects from you. It is not legal advice. Ask your own lawyer what your business needs.

What we enforce

What you must do

AI disclosure (locked)

Every call, outbound and inbound, starts with a fixed line that says the agent is an AI assistant and names your business. It is spoken word for word before the agent says anything of its own. In English (the only call language in v1):

CallOpening words
Outbound"Hi, this is {agent name} calling from {company name}. I’m their virtual AI assistant. This call is transcribed and may be recorded. If you would rather not get these calls, just say stop calling and we will not call you again." Then your greeting.
Inbound"Hi, this is {agent name} at {company name}, their virtual AI assistant. How can I help? This call is transcribed and may be recorded." Then your greeting.

Calling hours

We dial, retry and text only between 8am and 8pm in the lead's local time, judged from the area code. This is stricter than the federal rule because some states end at 8pm. We do not skip weekends or public holidays; if a rule that applies to you does, do not send orders on those days. Details: Calling hours.

Where we call

v1 calls US numbers only. Other countries have different consent, calling-hour and disclosure laws and are not supported.
