The AI notice on every call
Every call, outgoing and incoming, opens with a short line saying the agent is a virtual AI assistant for your business. For example: “Hi, this is Alex calling from Acme Solar. I’m their virtual AI assistant.”
Why it is always on
US law and the phone carriers expect people to be told when they are speaking with an AI. Saying it up front builds trust and keeps your business safe. There is no setting, button or script that removes it, including Advanced mode.
What you can change
- The agent's name and voice.
- Your business name, which the notice uses.
- Everything the agent says after the notice, in Then Alex says.
What it sounds like
The notice is said in the agent's language. It names your business, never Avoonta. If you use Avoonta through an agency, it names your business, not the agency.
Change what comes after the notice
- Open AI Agents and press Edit on the agent.
- Under 2 · How Alex opens the call, you see the locked line marked “Always said first (required by law)”.
- Change the words in Then Alex says.
- Press Publish changes.
