Release a phone number

Releasing a number gives it back. You stop paying for it from next month. Once released, it can go to another business and we cannot get it back for you.

Step by step

1. Open Numbers & Calendar and click the number.
2. Scroll to Danger zone and press Release number.
3. Read what happens: agents stop using it, leads who ring it hear “this number is not in service”, and follow-up texts pause until you add a new number.
4. Type the last 4 digits of the number to confirm.
5. Press Release number. Changed your mind? Press Keep number instead.

Money

There is no refund for the current month. Your texting registration stays on file for when you add a new number.
