Consent: who Your agent may ring
In the US, an AI Agent may only ring people who agreed to be called by your business. Avoonta refuses to call a lead without that agreement, and keeps proof of it for you.
What counts as consent
- The person ticked a box (not pre-ticked) or clearly agreed to be called and texted by your business, including by an AI assistant.
- You can show where and when they agreed.
- Bought or rented lists never count.
How we record it
For every lead, we save where they agreed, when, and the exact words they agreed to:
- Trigger link: you tick a statement once that every lead you send agreed. Each lead also carries its own consent.
- Adding leads or importing a file: you say where each person agreed and tick a confirmation.
- Test calls: you confirm the number is yours.
A lead that arrives without consent is not called.
Find and download proof
- Open Settings, then Consent records under Staying legal.
- Use Find a lead, or filter by Where they agreed and When.
- Press View to see the full record: the words, the page, the time, whether the box was ticked by them, and when the first call was made.
- Press Download as PDF. That one page is usually what a complaint or a lawyer's letter asks for.
- For a full audit, press Download all (CSV).
How long we keep it
Consent records are kept for 5 years and are sealed: nobody can edit them, including you and us. They are kept even if you close your account.
